Oldbury Stay is a peaceful woodland campsite set within the beautiful ancient woodlands of Oldbury Hill in Kent. Our aim is to offer simple, comfortable camping that reconnects guests with nature while protecting the landscape for future generations.
Oldbury Stay is located at Oldbury Hill, near Sevenoaks in Kent, surrounded by historic woodland, walking trails and beautiful countryside.
Further directions will be provided with your booking confirmation.
We offer a range of grass pitches suitable for:
- Tents
- Campervans
- Caravans
- Motorhomes
Pitch types and facilities vary, and full details are available during the booking process.
Where possible, guests may be able to select a preferred pitch during the booking process. Availability depends on occupancy and operational requirements.
Pitch occupancy limits are shown during booking. Additional charges may apply for extra adults or children.
Yes, subject to prior approval.
To preserve the peaceful atmosphere of the campsite, large groups, parties and organised gatherings must be agreed in advance.
Payment terms are displayed during the booking process. Most bookings require payment at the time of reservation.
We will always try to help where possible. Amendments are subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed.
Bookings cancelled more than 28 days before arrival may qualify for a refund less any booking fees.
Bookings cancelled within 28 days of arrival are normally non-refundable.

Check-in and check-out times will be confirmed in your booking confirmation.
If you expect to arrive late, please contact us in advance.
Possibly. Please contact us before travelling so we can discuss available arrangements.
Early arrivals may occasionally be available but cannot be guaranteed.
Having a great time, and staying a little longer is normal, and we are happy to help for a small additional fee.
Late departures may be available subject to occupancy and operational requirements. We have tasks we like to complete to ensure every upcoming stay is special after departures.
Have a chat with us at reception and we will be as accommodating as operationally possible.

Yes. Toilet and shower facilities are available on site for guests.
We ask all visitors to help us keep facilities clean and tidy.
Yes. Potable drinking water points are available throughout the site.
Selected pitches may include electric hook-up facilities. Availability is shown during booking or can be arranged when arriving on site.
We do not allow generators on site as we work hard to preserve a peaceful atmosphere.
Due to our woodland location, mobile signal and internet connectivity may vary.
We encourage guests to embrace the opportunity to disconnect and enjoy nature.
Yes we do, we like to ensure you have available:

A small campsite shop may offer camping essentials and seasonal supplies including:

Locally sourced breakfast packs can be pre-ordered and collected each morning.
We aim to make Oldbury Stay as welcoming as possible.
We have close friends who have accessibility needs, and so we try where reasonably possible to support all who want to stay with us.

Dogs

Yes. Well-behaved dogs are welcome.
Please be aware that other visitors may also have dogs, and young children, so socialising between pets and humans can happen on our site.
Yes. Dogs must remain under control and on a lead at all times.
This helps protect wildlife, other guests and the surrounding woodland.
There are numerous nearby woodland walks and trails.
Please follow all local signage and keep dogs under control.
No. Dogs should not be left unattended on the campsite.
Campfires & BBQs

Oldbury Stay is designed to be a family-friendly destination where children can enjoy nature, woodland trails and outdoor adventures.
Natural play opportunities are available in the surrounding woodland. There are trails and iconic locations ready for discovery.
Children must remain supervised at all times.
Yes, provided they do so safely and respectfully.
Please be aware that pedestrians always have priority.

Yes.
For everyone’s safety, vehicles must be driven slowly throughout the campsite.
Electric vehicle charging is only permitted at designated charging points where provided.
Charging from campsite hook-up points is prohibited.
Visitors & Safety
Things you may be thinking about before arriving…
Visitors are welcome to visit for breakfast or lunchtime catch-ups. All we ask is that they sign in at reception.
For safety and security, we ask that no visitors are invited onto site from dusk onwards.
As a woodland campsite, guests should be aware of:
- Uneven ground
- Tree roots
- Low branches
- Wildlife
- Changing weather conditions
Please take care and supervise children appropriately.
If you see something that does not look safe, please inform a member of our team immediately.
Guest safety is our priority.
In cases of severe weather, high winds or other safety concerns, we may temporarily restrict access to parts of the site or close facilities.
